TikTok Integration
Origin Studios uses the TikTok Content Posting API to publish video content to TikTok. When you authorize our application via TikTok OAuth, we access the following data:
- user.info.basic: Your TikTok open ID, display name, and avatar — used solely to identify your account for content posting.
- video.publish / video.upload: Permission to upload and publish video content to your TikTok profile on your behalf.
We store your TikTok OAuth access token and refresh token securely on our local systems. Tokens are encrypted at rest and are never shared with third parties, logged in plain text, or transmitted to any external service other than TikTok's API.
We do not collect, store, or share any TikTok user data beyond what is required for content posting (open ID and tokens). We do not access your followers, engagement data, messages, or any other TikTok account information.
Automated Content Posting
Origin Studios operates an automated content publishing system. Video content is posted to TikTok on behalf of authorized accounts. All posting is initiated with explicit user consent through the TikTok OAuth authorization flow. Users can revoke access at any time by removing the app from their TikTok account settings.
Data Retention and Deletion
TikTok tokens are retained only while your account is actively authorized. You may request deletion of all stored data associated with your TikTok account at any time by contacting us. We will delete all tokens and associated data within 30 days of receiving a deletion request.
Third-Party Services
Our website contains links to Amazon.com and other third-party websites. When you click on these links and leave our site, we have no control over the content or privacy practices of those external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
